My Photo-Selection-Project
I managed to dig out some old photos of Chloe last weekend when I was trying to unpack some of the mess in the room... will send some for charity and throw some... bla bla bla... Anyway, we still don't know how and where to allocate the remaining items at the moment cause we would like to get some book shelves or build-in cabinets at the second living room upstairs as well as our study area... so we can just throw all the "rubbish" inside and close-the-door!!! HAHAHA
By looking at the photos... I missed the chubby Chloe so much!!!! She used to be so round and chubby before that... and become slimmer/thinner now ever since she has master crawling and walking... she was so busy running up and down non-stop the whole day... Therefore, I really appreciate my mom's help cause I know it's really really a tough job by taking care of her alone during the day before we come back...
I realized I have stopped sending Chloe's photos to develop after she turned 2 months old cause we were so busy after that... However, I've decided to start the "Photo Selection Project" (a real tough job) this morning when I saw how much my mom enjoying her photos... The feeling is so different when you hold the photos on your hand as compare to viewing it on the screen... and of course I would prefer the "real" stuff more!!!
Since baby changes so much especially in their first year of life... It's worth to spend some time to get their photos organised definitely... I'm sure it's taxing by doing all these together NOW!!! cause I have SO SO SO many photo files of her!!!

Mickey Mouse Mat
Mama bought me a new Mickey Mouse Mat in my play room downstairs in order to replace the existing Number Mat cause she was getting too much complaint from Popo & Papa that I used to bite off the Number Mat into smaller pieces and almost swallow it since I have 8 strong teeth all together right now... and she even experienced it herself last weekend till she decided to replace it... Well, I have a new mat eventually... Hooray!!!!
Btw, I used to have a similar mat with all the princess printed on top upstairs... that was my pressie from uncle Joe... and mommy bought another one with Mickey Mouse print after work @ Sunway Pyramid... How was it?? I like it so much till I have completely forgotten about the Number Mat? Excuse me... what is Number Mat? I only want my Mickey Mouse Mat okey...

Sofea and I
Hooray... Mama told me aunt Christina & uncle Vincent will come visit us with Sofea along!!! Hmm, although we don't really play together or interact much but we did make great companion for each other!!! Check it out...
Btw, I hope my hair can grow as long as Sofea when I'm her age which is around 9 months after... So I will look more girlie by then!!! Wooo Huuuu...
I was busy "eating" and Sofea was busy looking for the missing pieces of the puzzle on her hand!!! It was real hard to shoot photo for both us and it was the best that Mama could do adi... FYI, Sofea is 9 month older than me and we are almost the same height now... and of course, she is more refine and PRETTY ya..

Ops... a bit over adi... can't sit on it lah..
Anyway, it doesn't seems impress Sofea since the pianist was busy performing as well...
Yea.. my turn to wear the hair band eventually... :)
Btw, you may find more pix of the hair band here when I was 8 months old..

Pail Game
Brought Chloe out to car porch together while I was hanging clothes this morning... wanted to let her get familiarise with dirty places outdoor since she was too get use to clean places indoor till dare not step ahead by kept pointing at the leaves, grass, and all the rubbish and said "gah gah... gah gah... " (means Dirt)
So I let her explore herself while I still keep an eyes on her... when nobody is watching... she try to walk around and look for something interesting herself... such as the plants, hose, car tyre, grills patterns, and my PAIL... She pull away my pail when I've done and guess what she did with the pail?? Hahahahhaa... my pail became her shopping cart/walker... and of course, my pail's rim scratched like nobody business once she has done...

Should You Correct Your Parents?
Please find the English translation from Dizigui.net as follow:-
When my parents do wrong, I will urge them to change.I will do it with a kind facial expression and a warm gentle voice.
If they do not accept my advice, I will wait until they are in a happier mood before I attempt to dissuade them again, followed by crying, if necessary, to make them understand.
If they end up whipping me, I will not hold a grudge against them.
whipping: In ancient China, when a child did not obey the parents, the parents were allowed to discipline the child. If a child refused to be disciplined, the parents had to right to ask the authorities to have the child executed.
However, we shall focus more on the moral values and objective convey by Dizigui and not taking advantage of just a few statements made in it... and the reason why I would like to share this is to undeceive my dear friends out there and telling them we have the right to correct and convince them with sufficient facts instead of keeping silent in order to achieve the "filial" rule. Come on... It won't help each party either by doing this...
To me, I have been practicing it ever since I've started working when I was 20... I think it's very important to share our views and opinions in order to gain mutual respect and understanding from the parents...
Alright, more to share about Dizigui next...

Bad Days
I had bad days lately... not quite sure why... guess it's a norm that everyone has their up and down each year ya... sigh...
- HSBC failed to perform GIRO - The money transferred from HSBC online took more than 5 days and still not reflecting in my Maybank account yet... Fei called on the following day and HSBC insisted Maybank hasn't run their batch job. However, they finally admitted it was their system failure when Fei called again yesterday for the status. Didn't know HSBC was "that" unethical and unreliable until we encountered this...
- Bad Maybank Phone Banking Service - I wanted to call Maybank to check if their system shows any "pending" transfer from HSBC but nobody pick up and I was put on-hold till falling asleep... They dare to claim themselves the largest bank in M'sia with such a poor customer services... My advice is, you can maintain most your transactional accounts with Maybank for the sake of conveniences but please put your SAVING account (merely for saving and saving only) ELSE WHERE!!!! Therefore, it was the first time my cheque has been bounced back due to HSBC failure... #!(#@$#*@$#$21&^*)&($#^#... Should I take legal action against HSBC??
- Stepped on S**T - It happened when I was about to cross the road to my usual massage centre at Taipan last week... I didn't EXPECT there was a "gold" lying on such a busy road like this... and apparently I was so "lucky"...
- Pinched my fingers - It happened while I close the cosmetic/skincare drawer at home... I thought it will only happen to kids all these while... but I proved myself wrong...
- Forgot to submit invoice - My colleague asked if I need his help to collect my cheque for June yesterday and I replied saying I didn't get any email notification and "DING"... Oh My... I forgot to submit invoice for June!!! Well, not that "surprise" anymore after all the encounter earlier
- Cut my finger - When I was half way peeling the apples last night... I feel pain and blood came out from my middle finger... I closed my eyes and took a deep breath and desperately feel like "showing the middle finger".... really...
- Mosquito kissed me all over - "He" kissed my neck... my FACE... my ear... my toes... last night till I couldn't sleep well the whole night after that... I took out the mosquito electrical "racket" and realised it was running out of battery... So I recharged it and I was like kena some mild electrical shock from it!!! DAMN!!! MADE IN CHINA product is really LOUSY lah... DAMN DAMN DAMN LOUSY SOME MORE!!!! I just covered myself with the blanket all over and get back to sleep after that... I've had made sure "He" doesn't fly any nearer to the playpen and I put on mosquito net normally but still... Chloe has a new "marks" on her face this morning... !$#$#($(*$#%%$%$(#%^^&&(%(*@)#$

Do You Have Manners?
Something impressed me this morning while I was on the way to office... even though it was just a gesture but it means a lot... really a lot...
A Peugeot wanted to change lane from right to left so Peugeot put on the side signal for quite sometime but not a single car on the left lane willing to give way and therefore Peugeot forced to remain at right lane and seems like it's going to miss the turning in front... I was about to slow down and give way since I was on left lane too and suddenly I noticed the Wira in front me slow down and let Peugeot in... So the driver raised her hand in a gesture of "Thank You" and Wira replied with a gesture of "You are welcome"...
So sweet and nice right? Don't you think so? Both drivers continued their own way with no anger.. no curse.. no frustration in their heart... It should be the Best Charity everyone could do daily to kick start their day... it's so simple and would probably take up 5 second of your time only... say if you did that for 10 cars a day also like what? 1 minute?? Come on... please do it in order to show how kind and generous you are ya??
I have been practicing these a lot while I was driving... To me, nothing is so urgent that I need not give way to others... of course there are some exceptional cases whereby the other driver was just too rude to signal me... Therefore, if you would like some one to give way... do it nicely... or politely by turn on the correct signal MUCH EARLIER (since it doesn't cost you to pay but safe lives) before you wanted to change lane... Don't just "Signal-and-Turn" as of everyone is aware of the your last minute "warning"....
It sounds just too SELF-FISH by not giving sufficient time to some other drivers to aware and respond to your signal... cause not every driver is that ALERT on the road nowadays... and some might be slow in respond... How could you judge and assure in that 1 second signal is sufficient enough for other to take precise and relevant actions? So, you ended up being cursed badly since causing the frustration of the other party for not being CONSIDERATE especially early in the morning... during the peak hours...
Some were just too ego to put on the signal or raise a gesture of thank you when they urgently need to "chip in" in the middle of a long queue (in front of traffic light/ toll)... Some more they drive so "close" to you by forcing you to give way by not looking at you at all... I mean, why you need to make yourself SO STRESSED?? Put on a signal lah, and I'm sure someone will give way in 15 seconds... Lazy? I guess car signals are for us to convey our message/intention to others but not for decoration... Shy? Because you are not used to it? Don't tell crap please... Forgot? How can you forget? you remembered to cut into people's lane but forgot to signal? Both should act together exactly like how you undress before shower... will you forget??
Do you know by doing all these, you have put yourself into danger and risk in case they bang into your car by not being able to respond in time? You might bang into other's car in case that driver not willing to buy your rudeness? Imagine it will be so troublesome by lodging a police report? Send car for repair? Claim insurance? spend avoidable/unnecessary money? Risk the life of your family if they are inside the car? Why you want to do something which you might regret next? Why? Why? Why? I just can't figure out the reason why....
Anyway, it's all about manners... I used to see big car's driver doing the same... they dress like executive, manager or someone reputable with POOR manners... How sad ya?? Say if you do that in front of your kids?? and you kids will definitely learn from it and can do it even better next... Is that what you are looking for? Oh Yes, some drive on opposite direction as well especially in the car park... If you entered by mistake then ok la... but some really did it on purpose...
Another case is not related to driver but Lift Manners... Do you know the rules of using lift? I don't think most Malaysian know since we are not educated and not even aware of it... I realised and experienced how Taiwaness queue up for life during the peak working hours in the morning when I was assigned to Taipei for one week assignment... BAT Taiwan is located at a very big and high commercial building (something like our KLCC but lower) so I managed to observe how they get into the lift every morning...
In front of each lift, there were 2 lanes queueing respectively from the most left and most right in order to get in to lift next... and left the middle lane empty and clear in order to give way for people to get out the lift... So when the lift door opened, they waited till everyone came out then only go in... Their actions are fast but organised and efficient... Wow, I was impressed... and I love this place after a week and really looking forward to go back... hahaha... Likewise, I used to work in KLCC Tower 1 & Tower 2 and sad to say... I don't see such scene at all... and perhaps never...
These are the rules I used to adhere while driving and would like to share it here:-

- Braked if noticed the car behind was too close in order to slow him/her down
- I put signal much earlier before the actual turning in order to alert others in advance and I noticed motorist behind will slow down and not to follow you so closely after that...
- I give way to cars (for those who signal) that coming out from the junction and also adhere the rule of "berselang-seli" so everyone gets to move in order to ensure smooth traffic
- I signal and raised my hand with a gesture of "Thank You" whenever I need someone to give way or have had gave way
- I give way to cars (depends on situation) opposite with appropriate gesture given cause no point stop and wait by assuming the other party to understand you... cause they might not understand your intention... therefore the best way is to "show" them...

HOT Wedding Year
Received a wedding invitation from one of my old friend lately... and my mom told me my cousin brother and cousin sister (both are siblings) also getting married respectively by end of this year... I've attended my ex-colleague's wedding dinner early this year as well... and I've missed some friend's wedding dinner last year since I've just gave birth to baby Chloe that time...
What a busy and "broke" season cause need to source for wedding dress/gown?? accessories?? shoes?? and so forth... Hmmm... Hope can wear my old dress again which I used to wear for events like company dinner or friend's wedding 5-8 years back!!! HAHAHHAHAHA... It looks great and still in good condition though since I only wear it once!!!
Anyway, the wedding season reminds me about my own wedding too... These are the "summary" which Eric prepared for me and it's part of the package anyway... and it reminds me how good if my dad is still around... cause he has gone with Amitabha 2 months after the wedding... and it also reminds how beautiful my mom was on that night... she was as gorgeous as a "Datin" during the dinner!!! I said to her "mom, why you look so beautiful tonite??" and I supposed it was the last stunning look of her which my dad could possibly enjoy...
When my 2 nephew asked "Where is Kong Kong?".... we will answered "Kong Kong has gone with Amitabha" cause Kong Kong used to tell them stories about Buddha last time... perhaps we were trying to beautify/simplify the words of "past away"... It's was just too "heavy".... till it couldn't come out from my mouth.. even till now... and the most I can say is "He is no longer around... "
Ops.. better stop now... my tears welling up soon...

IKEA GORM Storage System - Part II
Yea... forgot to attach the IKEA GORM storage system at our store area @ kitchen since I have mentioned about it here... Thank god the "Corner" unit just nice to fit the L-shape of our kitchen cause it supposed to have some free space after the "End" unit base on the measurement in IKEA magazine but ended up "ngam ngam" now... Phew...
Btw, we set it up about 3 weeks back... middle of the night... while Chloe slept soundly... cause we will never have the time to do it on weekdays or when Chloe is awake... can't do it while she is taking her nap cause she might wake up after listening to the noise we have made?? She is such a light sleeper during the day...

She Melts Hearts
Chloe is busy picking up "speaking" lately... she mimic how we speak on the hand phone by using the fake one and said "HELLO!!!! HELLO!!!!" ... and she has learnt to call "Pa Pa" each time she saw Fei (sad to say she purposely don't want to call "Ma Ma" in front of me... and she will only tell Po Po where Ma Ma is after I've walked away by pointing at my back and said "Ma Ma")... *Geram!!!*
What she did yesterday was... she waked up at 7am so I picked her up... and when she saw Papa... she took out the pacifier and said "Pa Pa!!" then put back the pacifier in her mouth... and definitely Fei was extremely happy loh... HEART MELTED... cause Chloe called him by surprise... it was really a good start of the day!!!
Besides, she called "Kong Kong" (Grandpa) as well... when she saw pretty things then she said "Mei Mei" (Beautiful)... she named the night light "Koh Koh" (should be "Kor Kor Kei" cause it was a hen shape light)... She said "Kar Kar" (Insect) when saw dirty stuff or all the black color dirts/bug on the floor... she said "Mao Mao" when saw cat and "Wow Wow" when saw dog... and said "ball ball" (Ball)... She also mumbling for some unknown words such as "cu ku cu ku cu ku".... "ji li ji li ji li ji li".... "ko tor ko tor ko tor ko tor"... she makes sound effects for her own action sometimes such as "Bi Chi" "Hooooo" "Neh... ".. etc etc
For all the things she said... She just reluctant to call the 2 most important woman in her life now which is MA MA and PO PO!!! We knew she knows it but reluctant to call even though being "forced"!! Hahahahaha... we so terrible lah... and the more we "teach" her... the more she don't want to say... sigh.. wait and see how lah...
Hahahhaha... It was really funny to see how she develop from day to day... and I believe it's a long way to go... :)

When Long Become Short
Are you a risk taker when comes to hair cut? Means you will let an unknown hair stylist to cut your hair? YES, I AM... In fact, I'm a risk taker and kinda adventurous overall in terms of trying new product/challenge/place/style out...
Because I'm a Sagittarius? Hmmm... probably... and it highly depends on my "mood" as well... I might keen to try it NOW and not LATER... Therefore, "Timing" would be the key...
I was kinda up sad ever since my hair stylist opened his new hair saloon at KL!!! Come on... KL??!! It sounds pretty far to me ever since we have moved... and I decided to look for "replacement"... and that's why I came to A-Cut-Above @ Pyramid on Tuesday... I was on leave after sending Chloe to see pediatrician due to her colic and was thinking to drop by Pyramid for some marketing after settling down Chloe at home...
I walked pass A-Cut-Above and went in... I normally request the MOST senior/professional and preferably male to do my hair... I requested for a trim at first cause wanted to keep my hair long again... but after talking to him and think twice... I allowed him to cut my hair short to another "Bob" style instead... merely because he assured me that he could handle it well... So I let him try and give myself a chance at the same time... It was exactly the same how I met my long-term hair stylist Mike last time in Jantzen last time... I let him do my hair once... and followed him for 10 years... hahahahhahaa...
Hmm... turned out to be great!!! I like it as well as the skill he handle my hair... He has this special "Skull" theory which technically make sense and managed to convince me as well... According to him, everyone has different skull shape which make our head look different... some round top shallow side... sharp top round side... round head with flat back... oval head with sunken back.. etc etc... and he will normally "touch" and examine the shape of your skull at first before any recommendations are given... and these info helps in terms of performing the perfect cut by making use of the strength and weakness of our original skull shape... COOL??!?!! Convincing?? I think so...
般若波羅密多心經
It used to "remind" me to be more generous and learn to take things easily...

Mau San Wong
I dropped by SS15 for fruits and flowers since tomorrow will be 15th June in Lunar Calendar... and I was attracted to something ever since I got down from the car... and I saw there was this van which loaded with DURIAN!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!
So I quickly settled the flowers and fruits and ran to the van and bought 3 biji home... They called it "Mau San Wong" (direct translation would be Cat Mountain King).... Sluurrrppppp.... My mom and I whacked one immediately once I got back... and we almost finished 3 by end of the day once Fei is back... gonna keep some in the fridge as tomorrow's desserts!!!!
Chloe was so excited and she loves it too till fight for the same piece from me... and she even bit my lips for the left over... So funny...
Hmm... It actually reminds me about my dad... he was a lover of durian... and he usually bought a lot home last time when I was young and will eat till we feel like vomiting... so full and contented... (I miss that moment)...

Chloe Has A Dislike For White Potato
My mom introduced Chloe potato yesterday and boiled together with her usual porridge... we normally gave her sweet potato instead of white one cause sweet potato seems having more more nutrition whereby white potato looks so plain and tasteless...
Chloe doesn't seems enjoy her breakfast and lunch with potato added by showing the "puke" expression (she showed that when she was full or didn't like the food)... so my mom was thinking not to cook that anymore after she finished last portion of it as her dinner...
Who knows she vomited all out not long after the meal... We thought it might due to the "reflux" since she doesn't like it... and helped to apply her some "Yu Yee Oil"...
Strangely... Chloe vomited her usual before-morning-nap milk out twice this morning... so my mom called me back when I was on the way to office and send her to see our usual pediatrician and she said Chloe has colic (must be the potato which cause the "wind" in her stomach?? Anyway, I used to be the same as well... caught "wind" very easily)...
So doctor prescribed colic syrup and some salts to replenish ion in her body. Doctor also gave us a small tin of Bebelac Lactose Free milk powder to be replaced temporary with our existing Mamil Gold cause Chloe should avoid dairy products for these 2 days as well...
Phew... It was indeed the first time she couldn't tolerate with the new food we introduced and apparently white potato should be categorized as a Very-Safe food even the pediatrician said so... Well, probably she dislike the taste or texture...
Thank god she back to normal quite soon after we back from the clinic and as long as she don't see sweet potato again...
18th-Jul 2008:
Noticed that it was not the first time Chloe took white potato according to my previous post here... but I was giving her the organic one and blend till quite fine that time since she just started semi-solid... Anyway, will take note of that definitely...

New Challenge *Updated w Pix*
Check out my BL (babyleg) which mama bought months ago... I have chance to wear all them eventually since I'm walking now... means I got to wear more dress/skirt... and chances where mommy will put it on is getting higher too!!!Ok... I will call Popo and let her know we are on the way... I will say out loud "HELLO" once I hold the phone and mimic how Papa Mama answer their calls lately...
Relative were all gone back and left me alone??Since some of my relative came down from Ipoh 2 days ago and they are gathered at my mom's place today. So we brought Chloe back and "introduce" to them... guess they have not seen Chloe in person when they came down the last time for my father's funeral and I was only 6 months pregnant that time...
Once we arrived, my mom's place was flooded with relative... Chloe appeared to be shocked and stoned at the beginning since she has never seen so many "strangers" looking and calling her before... not to say we didn't bring Chloe out often enough but such situation was kinda different if compare to shopping complex or some other crowded places...
I wondered if Chloe can cope with such situation well or she just stand still and cry once being approached by the aunties uncles... In order to minimize her fear to stranger, we put her to stand in front of me or always put her near by... and I believed it's the best way to expose her to something new step by step... We first introduced her to the relative, telling her who is each and everyone... and also tell her they are looking forward to see her... I carried her while talking to them so she will feel more comfortable since mommy are talking to them too... and we must not put/push the baby/kid to the stranger immediately as well cause they might need time to familiarise with a new person as well... Therefore, situation like this would be the best "experience" for Chloe...
To my surprise, she has warmed up after awhile and started to show off her walking skill to others... and slowly progress from slow to FAST... Hahahhahahaa... But she will cry if the newly known strangers raised their voice or show her some funny expressions overly... Anyway, I still make sure she is with me all time cause it would be real troublesome when a kid kena "frighten"... as what my mom told me...

Weekend @ Home
Ever since I learnt walking... I was kinda busy practising it... and I feel excited since I'm tall enough to reach most of the things I want without a helping hand... But I noticed Papa Mama will surely around me for "protection" wherever I go... Don't they tired??
These are the activities I usually do at home in a lazy afternoon after bath & meal...
1) I walked up and down from Living room to Kitchen (I'll hear someone scream once I stepped in the kitchen... they said "watch out!! dangerous!! dangerous!!")
2) Once I walked pass the staircase at the Dining room and I point up... Mama will usually ask Papa to bring me up (well, I don't need help in fact since I can crawl up... but they said "dangerous" again.. sigh) first and she will join us later after some of the house chores with camera in her hand...
